Chop Sees Krueger Survive

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Quentin Krueger defended his big blind against a raise to 125,000 by Kate Hoang, who was in middle position. Krueger checked the {5-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop, and Hoang potted 275,000. Krueger shoved all in for 425,000 more, and Hoang called.

Hoang: {a-Spades}{3-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Krueger: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

Hoang asked for running spades. The turn was an {a-Hearts}, though, improving her two pair. The {10-Spades} river gave Krueger a set, but Hoang had an eight-deuce that played for low.
