Tulek Gets Shorter

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Jason DeWitt limped in, as did Hani Mio. Chris Lee checked his option in the big blind and the trio checked the {7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop and the {K-Clubs} turn. On the {J-Diamonds} river, Lee bet 125,000 and DeWitt raised to 425,000. Mio folded and so did Lee after some consideration.

Scott Clements raised to 200,000 and Murat Tulek defended the big blind. The flop came {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Tulek checked, Clements made it 440,000 to go and Tulek folded.

Mio Chips Up Through Lee

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

On a flop of {K-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Hani Mio bet 80,000 from the big blind and Chris Lee called from the cutoff.

The turn brought the {J-Clubs} and Mio check-called a bet of 200,000 from Lee.

The {A-Hearts} fell on the river and Mio fired 425,000, sending Lee into the tank. Ultimately, Lee called and Mio flipped over {Q-}{10-}{X-}{X-} for Broadway. Lee mucked and Mio took the pot.

DeWitt Flushes Clements

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Hani Mio limped from the cutoff and Scott Clements came along from the small blind. Eoghan O'Dea checked in the big blind. On the {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop, the action checked to Mio and he bet 150,000, which Clements called and O'Dea got out of the way. Both checked the {7-Clubs} turn and the {8-Diamonds} river saw a bet of 250,000 by Clements and a fold by Mio with the words, "I had a beautiful wrap."

In a four-way limped pot including Jason DeWitt, Clements, O'Dea, and Chris Lee in the big blind, the flop showed {J-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Clements made it 125,000 to go and DeWitt was the only caller. The {7-Diamonds} turn and {9-Diamonds} river brought no betting action and DeWitt showed {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for a flush to win this battle of the two-time WSOP champions.

Tulek Doubles Through O'Dea

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Murat Tulek
Murat Tulek

Eoghan O'Dea raised to 180,000 from the button and short-stack Murat Tulek moved all in for his last 290,000 from the big blind. O'Dea called.

Tulek: {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
O'Dea: {A-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

Tulek was marginally ahead and flopped two pairs on {Q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. Both the {K-Clubs} turn and {6-Hearts} river changed nothing and Tulek doubled up.

O'Dea Drops Some More

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Tommy Le raised to 180,000 from the button and Eoghan O'Dea defended the big blind. On the {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop, O'Dea checked and Le bet 200,000 to force a fold.

Hani Mio limped the next hand and O'Dea filled up. Chris Lee checked in the big blind. The flop came {A-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Mio's bet of 175,000 won the pot. His rail cheered with the words, "Let's go, Hani. Every pot counts."

Lee Holds with Aces to Double

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Hani Mio limped in and Scott Clements raised to 250,000 in the cutoff. Chris Lee announced "pot" and raised to 910,000, which forced out short stack Murat Tulek in the big blind and Mio. Clements called and Lee moved all in in the dark for his remaining 305,000 before the flop came {J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Clements called and the cards were tabled.

Lee: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Clements: {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

The {3-Hearts} turn gave Clements some more outs with a gutshot, but the {9-Clubs} river was none of them to see Lee double and put a dent into the stack of Clements.
