DeWitt Wins With a River Raise

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

Jason DeWitt raised to 250,000 from the button, and Tommy Le called from the big blind.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades}, and both players checked. The turn brought the {8-Hearts}, and Le bet 500,000, sending DeWitt into the tank. After about a minute, he called. The {10-Spades} fell on the river, and Le bet 500,000 again. After a few more moments in the tank, DeWitt min-raised to 1,000,000. Le quickly folded, and DeWitt took the pot.

DeWitt Takes a Big One off Mio

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

Chris Lee raised to 420,000 from the button, and Hani Mio called in the big blind. The duo checked the {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop and the {9-Diamonds} turn, and Mio also checked the {A-Diamonds} river. Mio already wanted to show his cards and exposed them while Lee had not acted yet. Lee then bet 120,000, and Mio folded.

On the button, Jason DeWitt raised to 250,000 in the next hand, and Mio called from the small blind, as did Tommy Le in the big blind.

The {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop was checked by all players. On the {6-Hearts} turn, the action checked to DeWitt, and he bet 200,000. Mio check-raised to 400,000, and Le folded, while DeWitt called. The {3-Diamonds} river completed the board, and Mio checked. DeWitt made it 1,100,000 to go, and Mio quickly tossed in a chip for the call.

DeWitt turned over {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for the nut flush and scooped a big pot to get almost even in chips with Mio.

Jason DeWitt limped from under the gun, Hani Mio was next to act and did the same, as did Tommy Le from the cutoff. Eoghan O'Dea called from the small blind, and Chris Lee checked his option.

The five players saw a flop of {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, and action checked to DeWitt. He bet 600,000, all four of his opponents folded, and he took the pot.

Le Cracks Aces to Double

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

Hani Mio limped from the hijack, and Tommy Le raised the pot to 520,000 from the cutoff. Scott Clements three-bet the pot, and Mio folded. Le eventually called all in for his last 1,355,000.

Tommy Le: {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
Scott Clements: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}

The {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop gave Le far more outs to remain in contention, and Clements shook his head and turned to the side. After the {A-Spades} turn, Clements improved to top set and blocked the spade outs with his flush draw. However, the {K-Clubs} fell on the river, and that improved Le to a winning flush.

Le also won the blinds the next hand with a raise to 300,000 and jumped back above three million in chips.

DeWitt Doubles Through Clements

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

In the first hand coming back from the break, Scott Clements raised to 350,000, and jason DeWitt moved all in from the small blind for 1,040,000. Clements called, and the cards were turned over.

Jason DeWitt: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Scott Clements: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{J-Hearts}{9-Spades}

"An ace and we chop it up," Clements said before the flop fell {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. DeWitt improved to top set and locked up the double with the {2-Clubs} turn, making the {Q-Hearts} river a formality.

The next hand, Clements raised to 300,000, and DeWitt three-bet the pot to 1,080,000 from the button to force a fold and further build his stack.
