DeWitt Flushes Clements

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Hani Mio limped from the cutoff and Scott Clements came along from the small blind. Eoghan O'Dea checked in the big blind. On the {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop, the action checked to Mio and he bet 150,000, which Clements called and O'Dea got out of the way. Both checked the {7-Clubs} turn and the {8-Diamonds} river saw a bet of 250,000 by Clements and a fold by Mio with the words, "I had a beautiful wrap."

In a four-way limped pot including Jason DeWitt, Clements, O'Dea, and Chris Lee in the big blind, the flop showed {J-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Clements made it 125,000 to go and DeWitt was the only caller. The {7-Diamonds} turn and {9-Diamonds} river brought no betting action and DeWitt showed {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for a flush to win this battle of the two-time WSOP champions.

Mio Chips Up Through Lee

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

On a flop of {K-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Hani Mio bet 80,000 from the big blind and Chris Lee called from the cutoff.

The turn brought the {J-Clubs} and Mio check-called a bet of 200,000 from Lee.

The {A-Hearts} fell on the river and Mio fired 425,000, sending Lee into the tank. Ultimately, Lee called and Mio flipped over {Q-}{10-}{X-}{X-} for Broadway. Lee mucked and Mio took the pot.

Both checked the {5-Clubs} turn and Mio's bet of 325,000 on the {A-Diamonds} river won the pot without showdown.

DeWitt and Mio Scoop Pots

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Scott Clements raised to 175,000 and Jason DeWitt called from the small blind. Both players checked through on the {8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop and the {7-Clubs} turn. The {Q-Clubs} river was checked as well and DeWitt showed {K-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for a pair of kings to win the pot.

In another hand, Hani Mio limped in, as did Clements in the small blind and Eoghan O'Dea in the big blind. On the {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, Clements and O'Dea checked, Mio bet 130,000, and Clements folded while O'Dea called. O'Dea checked the {9-Spades} turn as well and Mio bet 330,000, picking up a reluctant call by O'Dea.

The {3-Hearts} river brought no betting action and Mio announced two pairs, flipping over {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for kings and nines. That was good enough to win the pot and Mio cemented his spot in second place behind Clements.
