Crisp Doubles on the Money Bubble

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

While Patrick Mahoney folded all hands and went through the blinds to see his stack reduced to just 4,000, John Crisp moved all in for his last 23,000 from the cutoff, and Jason DeWitt called in the big blind. All other tables finished their hands, and the cards were turned over.

John Crisp: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Jason DeWitt: {J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}

The board came {K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, and Crisp's nut flush secured the double on the bubble.

Shack-Harris Takes Two Hits

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

The cards of Brandon Shack-Harris were already in the muck, while Vivian Saliba had her stack of 146,000 counted out. Saliba's {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} were still tabled, with the board showing {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. The stacks went in preflop. According to Oliver Weis, Shack-Harris put Saliba at risk with {A-}{K-}{J-}{2-} and failed to get there.

Soon after, Shack-Harris raised from under the gun, and Alberto Fonseca called on the button, as did Weis in the big blind. The flop fell {J-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, and Weis checked. Shack-Harris bet from under the gun, and Fonseca was the only caller. On the {K-Diamonds} turn and {A-Clubs} river, both players checked, and Fonseca announced a flush. He turned over {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, and Shack-Harris mucked.

Clements With a Big Win

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Scott Clements
Scott Clements

With about 150,000 in the pot and the board reading {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}, Alex Manzano was all in under the gun for roughly 140,000. Scott Clements was also all in from late position, having Manzano covered. Two other players folded on the flop, leaving the action heads-up.

Scott Clements: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Alex Manzano: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}

Clements was behind but had the nut flush draw and some straight outs to go along with two-pair outs. Manzano was open-ended on the top side and leading with his aces. The turn was the {q-Hearts}, not changing anything, but the {3-Clubs} on the river gave Clements two pair and a huge pot to add to his stack, while simultaneously knocking out one of Chile's best poker players.

Drinan Busts to Gorodinsky

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Zeik Tuit and Connor Drinan have been eliminated.

Ben Lamb raised to 16,000 from the cutoff, and Mike Gorodinsky called on the button, Connor Drinan called from the big blind with some 75,000 behind. The flop came {K-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, and Drinan took a long time before betting. Lamb let it go, and Gorodinsky raised to put Drinan all in.

Drinan called with {K-}{J-}{10-}{2-} for kings and deuces, and Gorodinsky had the {K-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. The {Q-Clubs} turn was a scary card for Gorodinsky, as Drinan picked up a lot of outs to improve. Instead, the {5-Hearts} river gave Gorodinsky kings and fives, and Drinan quickly headed out of the Brasilia Room.
