Two Pair For Hata

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Aymon Hata raised to 2,600 from middle position, and Jeff Gross decided to defend his big blind.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Gross checked. Hata tossed out a bet worth 5,000 and Gross paused for a moment before deciding to call. The turn was the {5-Diamonds}. Gross checked for a second time and Hata bet 10,500. Gross again took his time, thought for a minute and called again.

The river was the {j-Clubs}. Both players checked and Gross tabled {10-Spades}{9-Hearts} for a pair of tens, but Hata held {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for two pair sevens and sixes to scoop the pot.
