Mon Chops Up Luneau and Kihara

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Naoya Kihara raised to 40,000 from under the gun and both Samoeun Mon and Alex Luneau called from the button and small blind, respectively.

The flop fell {Q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{J-Hearts} and Mon bet out 20,000 with both Luneau and Kihara check-calling.

The turn of the {8-Clubs} was checked through as the {6-Clubs} landed on the river.

Luneau and Kihara checked to Mon who bet 40,000 as both Luneau and Kihara called.

Mon tabled his {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for queens up and the nut low as Luneau tabled his {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} for the same nut low. Kihara tabled his {A-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for the same nut low also, and it would be Mon winning the lion's share of this pot — two-thirds, to be exact.

Mikhail Semin Eliminated in 11th Place ($10,748)

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Mikhail Semin

Omaha Hi-Lo

Mikhail Semin raised from the button and his neighbour Smith Sirisakorn reraised. Semin called and paid another bet on the {8-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and Sirisakorn fired again. Semin put in all his chips, making it just 2,000 more. Sirisakorn threw in the extra pennies.

"You got it?" Semin asked.

"Yes," replied Sirisakorn, turning up his {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{7-Hearts} for the nut-flush.

Semin showed {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, hoping for another low card to chop the pot. The river {10-Spades}, however, brought him zero help, and Semin departed in 11th place.

Sirisakorn Takes from Rossi

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Bonni Rossi was in the big blind, leading out on the {4-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} turn. Cutoff Smith Sirisakorn called.

The {K-Diamonds} completed the board and Rossi opted for checking. Sirisakorn placed in one more bet and Rossi called quickly.

"I have a set," Sirisakorn said, turning over his {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} for a turned set. Rossi showed her {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{X-}{X-} for flopped two pairs, conceding the pot to Sirisakorn who extended his chip lead.

Chad Eveslage Eliminated in 12th Place ($10,748)

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Chad Eveslage - 12th place
Chad Eveslage - 12th place

Stud Hi-Lo

Alex Luneau had the bring-in and Chad Eveslage completed to 15,000. Larry Tull raised and Naoya Kihara called before Eveslage called all in for 21,000. Tull proceded to bet every street thereafter with Kihara calling him down.

Eveslage: {X-}{X-} / {J-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades} / {X-}
Tull: {X-}{X-} / {7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} / {X-}
Kihara: {X-}{X-} / {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{K-Spades} / {X-}

On seventh after his bet was called, Tull revealed his {5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Kihara tabled his {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} to see the side pot chopped.

Once Eveslage revealed his {J-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Spades}, he would be eliminated in 12th place for a $10,748 payday as Kihara and Tull chopped the main pot also.

Eveslage Crippled to One Big Bet

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Chad Eveslage had the bring-in and Alex Luneau completed. Eveslage raised to 30,000 and Luneau called. Eveslage bet every street with Luneau calling each time.

Luneau: {X-}{X-} / {10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} / {X-}
Evesalge: {X-}{X-} / {4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} / {X-}

After Eveslage's bet was called on seventh street, he tabled his {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a pair of aces.

Luneau revealed his {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for two-pair, and he was pushed the pot as Evesalge was left with less then one big bet.

Tull Clips Eveslage

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Catching the action on fifth street, Chad Eveslage checked to Larry Tull and he bet. Evesalge called, and that same betting action was repeated on sixth street.

Eveslage: {X-}{X-} / {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades} / {X-}
Tull: {X-}{X-} / {8-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} / {X-}

Both players checked seventh and Tull tabled his {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} to scoop Eveslage when he mucked.

Sorgen Doubles with Boat over Boat

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

There were many bets lying in front of Mikhail Semin and John Sorgen when they approached sixth street. Sorgen ended up all in and, while the process brought some confusion, Semin ended all discussions, saying, "It's OK, I call."

Sorgen: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} / {2-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{A-Hearts}
Semin: {5-}{4-} / {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{5-Spades}

While Semin had a strong hand, it was a frustrating showdown for him. Semin's full house was topped by Sorgen's, and the Russian player had only a thin chance to escape the damage. Semin hoped for the remaining five, but he peeled another river card instead, leaving Sorgen with a double.

Eveslage and Kihara Chop

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

From the button, Chad Eveslage raised and Naoya Kihara called.

The flop fell {7-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{K-Hearts} and Kihara checked to Eveslage who bet 15,000. Kihara check-raised to 30,000 and Eveslage called as the turn landed the {3-Spades}.

Kihara bet and Eveslage called as the {2-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

Kihara checked, Eveslage bet, and Kihara called, tabling his {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}{A-Diamonds} for the low as Eveslage tabled his {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for the high.
