Novick Crippled After Clash With Kihara

Naoya Kihara

Stud Hi-Lo

Naoya Kihara had a couple of babies on fourth but then picked up a {q-Clubs}, so he called a bet from Kent Novick, who had a couple of high cards. Both players checked sixth street.

Kihara: {x-}{x-} / {4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{q-Clubs}{7-Hearts} / {x-}
Novick: {x-}{x-} / {q-}{6-}{j-}{10-} / {x-}

Kihara then bet the river, and Novick called.

"Two pair," Kihara announced, showing {4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for fours up. It was a scooper though, as Novick mucked to leave himself one big bet.
