Adam Owen

Stud Hi-Lo

Three-way to sixth street, Josh Arieh bet into a large pot, earning calls from both Adam Owen and Talal Shakerchi. All players checked the river.

Adam Owen: {X-}{X-} / {Q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts} / {X-}
Talal Shakerchi: {X-}{X-} / {6-Hearts}{K-Spades}{9-Hearts}{A-Hearts} / {X-}
Josh Arieh: {X-}{X-} / {Q-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{4-Hearts} / {X-}

Nobody made a low, so the full 300,000 pot went to the highest hand shown. Josh Arieh rolled over his {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for kings up, which was enough to beat both of his opponents.

Owen was left with shrapnel. He posted the ante for the next hand and then completed with {7-Diamonds} for all his remaining chips. Shakerchi called and Matthew Ashton raised it up with a queen. Shakerchi called but folded on fourth when Ashton paired his queen.

Talal Shakerchi: {X-}{X-} / {10-Spades}{J-Clubs} - fold
Adam Owen: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} / {7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{3-Hearts} / {X-}
Matthew Ashton: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Owen had aces in the hole but Ashton made a flush on the way to the river. Owen could still chop with a low card on seventh street, but he didn't find any and mucked.
