Galfond Makes a Tough Laydown

Level 15 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Joey Couden bet from the big blind after the first draw, and Phil Galfond called from under the gun. Couden was pat, and Galfond took a card. Couden bet again and Galfond called. Couden checked on the end after Galfond took a final card. The online legend put in a bet. Couden popped in a raise and Galfond leaned back in his seat and smiled.

Galfond thought for over a minute, apologizing to the table as he did so. Ultimately, he decided to lay his hand down.

Alexander Kostritsyn went bust at another table.
