Arieh Takes a Big One on the Flop

Level 15 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Michael Mizrachi opened with a raise to 25,000. Next to act was Josh Arieh and he just called. Matthew Ashton then opted to put in a reraise to pot, making it 115,000 to play. Both Mizrachi and Arieh called.

The flop came down {3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{Q-Spades} and Mizrachi checked to Arieh. Arieh put out a big bet of 275,000. Ashton thought for a couple of minutes, then folded his hand. Mizrachi quickly followed suit after checking his hand a couple of times. That allowed Arieh to take down the big pot without a showdown.
