Mizrachi Firing Away in Limit Hold'em

Level 17 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Michael Mizrachi just played a furious series of limit hold'em hands that resulted in first a big loss and then a big net win.

First, Ian Johns and Mizrachi both checked a {7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop, and Johns fired on the {7-Hearts} turn. Mizrachi called, and Johns bet the {k-Diamonds} as well. Mizrachi raised.

"You got a king, you're the man," Johns said as he tossed in a call.

"You got it," Mizrachi said, throwing {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} into the middle. Johns took it with {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}.

The next hand, Mizrachi raised and called a three-bet from Matthew Ashton, who had the button. Mizrachi check-called a {9-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop and both checked the {5-Hearts} turn. Mizrachi bet the {j-Spades} river, and Ashton called but couldn't beat {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

Mizrachi three-bet the next hand after Johns opened, and he won it with a bet on the {9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop. "The Grinder" showed the {10-Clubs} and raked in the pot.

Then, Mizrachi raised on the button. Ashton reraised in the small blind and Mizrachi called. Ashton bet the {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop and Mizrachi called. Ashton slowed down on the {8-Hearts} river and check-called a bet from Grinder. He did the same on the {5-Hearts} river, and Mizrachi showed {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, winning with top pair.
