Becker and Haxton Battle for Monster Stud Pot Before Break

Level 22 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante
Johannes Becker
Johannes Becker

Stud

Johannes Becker completed with the {k-Hearts}, and Daniel Negreanu raised with the {q-Diamonds}. Isaac Haxton was in the bring-in with the {7-Hearts}, and he popped in another raise. Becker fired back with a fourth bet, making Negreanu fold. Haxton called.

Haxton paired right away with the {7-Diamonds} on fourth street, and he bet double. Becker, however, made an open pair of nines on fifth and took the betting from there to the end.

Becker: {x-}{x-}/{k-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Haxton: {x-}{x-}/{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Haxton called fifth and sixth, and both players checked seventh.

Becker tabled {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades} for kings up and a blocker to Haxton's board, and the kings up were good.
