Hands #64-69: Jerry Callahan Doubles Through Zahir Gilani

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Hand #64: Esther Taylor raised to 100,000 from under the gun, and Victor Choupeaux defended his big blind. The flop came {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}, and both players checked to the {10-Diamonds} on the turn. Choupeaux checked, and Taylor bet 125,000. Choupeaux immediately check-raised the pot to 595,000. Taylor tanked for a couple of minutes and eventually folded.

Hand #65: Shannon Shorr raised to 100,000 on the button and got no action.

No-Limit Hold'em

Hand #66: Shorr raised to 90,000 from the cutoff, and Sebastian Langrock three-bet to 235,000 from the big blind. Shorr mucked.

Hand #67: Shorr raised to 85,000 from the hijack, Zahir Gilani moved all in from the big blind, and Shorr folded.

Hand #68: Ryan Laplante raised to 80,000 from under the gun, and Jerry Callahan defended his big blind. The flop came {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, Callahan checked, Laplante bet 170,000, and Callahan folded.

Hand #69: Gilani limped in on the button, and Callahan moved all in for 530,000 from the small blind. Gilani snap-called. Callahan was at risk with {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, up against Gilani's {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, and Gilani remained in the lead. The turn was the {10-Hearts}, and Callahan's rail went wild as he hit a ten. Gilani still had outs to make a flush or hit one of his overcards. The river was the {k-Spades}, though, and Callahan held on.
