Tristan Wade Eliminated by a Duck

Samoeun Mon from the Event #57 Final Table
Samoeun Mon from the Event #57 Final Table

Samoeun Mon has become somewhat recognizable after making the final table of the #Event #57: $2,500 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better/Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Mix. He finished fifth for $44,388.

Even more defining than his recent finish is his Donald Duck-esque voice that he often employs when he takes down a pot. On this particular hand he cheered, in duck voice, after he eliminated Tristan Wade.

The two were in three-way action on a {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop and Mon was the first to bet. He made it 1,700 and Wade shoved all in for 4,850. Mon was the lone caller.

Wade was on a draw with {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Mon had flopped top pair with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. The turn was the {6-Clubs} and the river was the {q-Spades}, sending Wade to the rail.

"Yeaaaahaaha," cheered Mon in his duck voice.
