Adams Shows a Bluff

There was a raise to 800 from middle position and Brandon Adams called from the big blind. "Are you going to try and bluff me again?" Adams' opponent asked from across the table.
The flop came 
and Adams checked to his opponent. "OK, I'll let you bluff me," he said as he bet 1,000. Adams took that opportunity to raise to 3,400 and his opponent mucked his hand.
"You have to show me if you're bluffing," his opponent begged.
"Of course I'm bluffing, but with some equity." Adams tabled 
to indeed show his opponent a bluff.
