De Laat Doubles; Goff Busts

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

After a raise to 1,700 and a call by Thomas Roupe on the button, Bas De Laat moved all in for 19,300 out of the small blind. The initial raiser folded and Roupe called.

Bas De Laat: {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Thomas Roupe: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The {J-Spades}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop gave the Dutchman a gutshot and he picked up even more outs with the {8-Diamonds} turn. "Holddddd," Roupe said, but the {Q-Spades} river gave De Laat a straight and the urgently needed double up.

Just when the showdown was finished, Fred Goff III walked over to wish Quang Tran from one seat over good luck. "I am out, I flopped a set of jacks and he rivered a king for the higher set," Goff said before heading out of the tournament area.
