Peter Jetten and Christoph Vogelsang Play a Pot Near the Bubble

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

The money bubble is looming, and while many people are taking their time to make decisions, some are still playing pots with the hopes of accumulating as many chips as possible.

The latter was true for Peter Jetten and Christoph Vogelsang in the small and big blinds, respectively. With about 110,000 in the pot already, on a board reading {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, Jetten checked and Vogelsang took about a minute before betting 35,000. Jetten stared Vogelsang down for a short while before deciding to call.

The river was the {10-Diamonds} and Jetten checked again. Vogelsang tanked for another minute or so and decided to check back. Jetten tabled {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for two pair, jacks and sixes. Vogelsang then showed {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for two pair, aces and tens, and scooped up the pot.
