Pisane and Piccioli Develop a Rivalry

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Right after the first break, Randy Pisane and Bryan Piccioli got involved in back-to-back hands with Pisane coming out on top both times. In one of the hands, Piccioli flopped a straight-flush draw with {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} on a {9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} board against Pisane's {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. Luckily for Piccioli, he didn't lose that many chips and was still surviving on a healthy stack.

In a recent hand, Pisane raised to 230,000 from the cutoff and Piccioli called from the big blind. The flop came {q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Piccioli check-called a bet of 325,000 from Pisane.

Both players checked the {q-Diamonds} on the turn and the {k-Clubs} landed on the river. Piccioli led out for 710,000 and Pisane mucked his hand.
