Outer Table Hands #62-63: Blumstein Takes One on the River

Level 34 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante

Hand #62: Richard Gryko completed the blind and Scott Blumstein checked. Gryko came out betting with 450,000 on the {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop. Blumstein called. Gryko fired again for 1,050,000 on the {j-Hearts} turn and was called once more. On the {q-Clubs} river, Gryko checked. Blumstein put in 3.4 million and Gryko went deep into the tank.

It sounded like Gryko told Blumstein he was at the top of his range. They exchanged some words that we couldn't hear, and Gryko eventually folded.

Hand #63: Antoine Saout raised to 925,000 under the gun. Richard Dubini called in the big blind and they saw a board of {10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} after both checked the flop. Dubini bet 1,150,000 and Saout called. Dubini bet 1.7 million on the {7-Hearts} river, and the French player tanked about a minute and released.

At that point, the players racked up for their seats at the final two tables.
