Andrew Kelsall Doubles

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

With a raise and three-bet before him, Andrew Kelsall four-bet to 17,000 from the button. The player in the cutoff called, and the flop came down {4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. The remainder of Kelsall's stack (56,600) got into the middle, and Kelsall tabled {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, trailing his opponent's {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}.

The {9-Hearts} turn and {4-Diamonds} river completed the board, giving Kelsall nines full of fours to double up just before dinner break.

Jaka Loses Some

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

With about 15,000 chips already in the middle on a flop of {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, the big blind checked, a player in early position checked, and Faraz Jaka bet 5,200 from middle position. The hijack folded, the big blind called, and the early-position player folded. The turn brought the {3-Clubs}, and both players checked. The river was the {2-Hearts}, and they checked again.

The big blind tabled {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a straight and Jaka mucked.

Huidong Gu Shows Strength Against Dan Colman

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Huidong Gu raised to 3,600 in middle position, and Dan Colman called in the big blind.

The flop came {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}, and Colman check-called a bet of 4,500 from Gu. The turn was the {5-Clubs}, pairing the board, and Colman bet out 5,500. After a short pause, Gu made it 16,500, and action was back on Colman. He thought for around two minutes and then flicked his cards into the muck.

Gu took down the pot, putting him around 100,000 chips.

Misstep for Chris George

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

After a raise from Hunter Cichy, a three-bet from Chris George from the small blind, and a call from Cichy, the two players took a flop heads-up.

The flop came {4-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, and George checked over to Cichy. Cichy put out a bet of 10,000. George asked to see how much Cichy had behind, then put out a stack of T5,000 chips, which was enough to put Cichy all in. Cichy called quickly.

George: {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Cichy: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

The board completed with the {2-Clubs} and the {K-Spades}, keeping Cichy in the lead the whole way, and he was able to double-up through George.

Seymour Pulls the Trigger

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The button opened before small blind Richard Seymour three-bet to 11,500. The big blind folded, and the button called.

Seymour carefully checked the {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop, and his opponent was quick to check behind. As the dealer got underway burning and dealing the turn, the button said something to Seymour, who didn't react. Not verbally that is, as he did shove all in on the {6-Hearts} turn. He was almost immediately returned his chips, as the button tossed his cards into the muck instantly.

With about 10,000 chips already in the middle on a flop of {Q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, the big blind checked, a player in early position checked, and Nick Schwarmann bet 6,500 from the cutoff. The big blind check-raised to what looked like 18,500, the early-position player folded, and Schwarmann did the same.
