Oliveira Looks Through Dedusha

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Pedro Oliveira raised from middle position and Artan Dedusha called in the cutoff. On the {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop, Oliveira continued for 16,500 and Dedusha called before a second barrel on the {7-Spades} turn saw a bet of 37,000 and a call by Dedusha.

The {A-Diamonds} river completed the board and Oliveira bet 55,000. Dedusha raised to 250,000, which was essentially what the Portuguese had left, and Oliveira called after some consideration. Dedusha showed {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a pair of tens and Oliveira scored a near-double with the {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}.

Timothy Adams Nearing 500,000

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Timothy Adams from Day 2
Timothy Adams from Day 2

While 500,000 isn't competing for the chip lead, Timothy Adams seems to have played a style that is perfectly suited for the main event. He came into Day 2 short and early on doubled up to 14,000. He spent all of Day 2 working his stack up to over 100,000 and then came into Day 3 with a little over 100,000.

Throughout the day he has added more than 300,000 to his stack and is steadily moving up the chip counts.

On this hand, Adams was one of four players to see the flop for 11,000. Adams was on the button and the action checked to him when the flop came {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts}. He bet 15,500 and got one caller.

He bet the {4-Hearts} on the turn and his opponent folded. Adams stacked 480,000 chips and is sitting in a comfortable position as the conclusion to Day 3, and the money bubble, are looming.

Giroir Doubles Through Stenholm

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

There was loud uproar over in the gold section and the board was still there while the stack of Jerry Giroir was counted.

The completed board showed {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{8-Spades}{K-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Giroir had just doubled for 113,000 with {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} while [Removed:153]'s {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts} ended up second best. Stenholm had four-bet shoved from the cutoff and Girior called in the blinds to see his luck all but fade on the flop before regaining the lead on the turn.

Giroir's table neighbor joked "you can breathe now" and the table was all smiles, including Stenholm.

Faraz Jaka Applies Pressure as the Money Bubble Looms

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Faraz Jaka
Faraz Jaka

On a board reading {j-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, with about 160,000 in the pot, Faraz Jaka thought for a moment before firing out a bet of 72,000 from under the gun.

His opponent was in middle position with about 400,000 behind and he went into the tank. Several minutes went by, and he kept looking back at his cards and then capping them again. After about five minutes, he released his hand.

Jaka raked in the pot and is sitting on 430,000 as the money bubble looms.

Boeree Folds to Craft

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Liv Boeree opened to 13,000 and Mickey Craft three-bet his button to 26,000.

Boeree called, and then checked the {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop over to Craft who continued for 40,000.

Boeree instantly mucked and saw her chip stack drop to under 200,000 as Craft climbed to 1.41 million in chips.

Rainer Kempe Eliminated by Eoghan O'Dea

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Rainer Kempe
Rainer Kempe

Rainer Kempe recently fell victim to tablemate Eoghan O'Dea, who was seated to his immediate right.

Earlier in the level, O'Dea opened to 13,000 in the cutoff and Kempe called on the button. On the {Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop, O'Dea checked, Kempe bet 17,000, and O'Dea called. The turn was the {J-Diamonds} and both players checked. They also checked the {10-Clubs} river, and O'Dea tabled {7-Spades}{5-Clubs} for a flush on the river. Kempe seemed frustrated and let out a sigh.

A little while later, Kempe and O'Dea tangled again, and Kempe did not survive the battle.

Action folded to these two in the blinds and O'Dea moved all in from the small blind. Kempe called for his remaining stack of 56,000 and they went to showdown.

O'Dea: {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Kempe: {A-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

The board came {5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, giving Kempe a pair of eights, but the {J-Diamonds} turn gave O'Dea a straight, which had Kempe drawing dead. The {6-Spades} river was insignificant, and Kempe was out.

Niall Farrell vs. Tom Cannuli

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Niall Farrell raised under the gun and Tom Cannuli called from the big blind.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Canulli bet 17,000. Farrell called.

The turn was the {2-Hearts} and both players checked.

The river was the {10-Spades} and Cannuli bet 32,000 and Farrell called.

Cannuli: {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Farrell: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Farrell's kings were good and he won the pot.
