Ben Lamb Gets Paid

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Ben Lamb
Ben Lamb

With a substantial pot of about 400,000 already brewing and the completed board reading {8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades}, Ben Lamb was on the button and heads-up against a player in early position. Lamb's opponent checked and Lamb took a few moments to think before betting 340,000. His opponent instantly announced a call and Lamb flipped over {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for eights full of sevens. His opponent mucked and he took the pot.

Ivan Luca Doubles Up

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

The action was folded around to the cutoff who raised to 45,000. The small blind called and Ivan Luca re-raised to 195,000 from the big blind, leaving himself with only 50,000 behind. The player in the cutoff folded and the small blind went into the tank for a couple minutes. Eventually, he decided to move all-in, having Luca covered, and Luca called for the rest of his stack.

Luca tabled {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and his opponent had {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. The board ran out {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Luca's pair of fours held to give him a double up at the end of Day 4.

With about 1,600,000 in the pot, on a board reading {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, Mickey Craft shoved for his remaining 1,400,000.

His opponent was Travis Lutes and he folded {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a pair of sixes and a busted flush draw. Craft tabled {q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for top pair and raked in the pot worth 3,000,000.

Liv Boeree
Liv Boeree

A short-stacked Liv Boeree moved all-in preflop from under-the-gun and was called by [Removed:508] from late position.

Boeree: {j-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Crivello: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

Boeree was dominated and in trouble. Getting no help from the {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} board, Boeree saw her Main Event run come to an end.

Comel Shows this Time

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Kyriakides thought about a minute and folded. Comel showed {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}. It sounded like Kyriakides said he folded two pair.

Mickey Craft Almost Does It Again

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Mikey Craft called Nicolas Fountotos' all in with {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}. Fountotos had {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}.

The board ran out {k-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Fountotos doubled up. Craft made two pair on the river and for a second everyone thought Craft had come from behind to win again, but the {j-Hearts} completed the flush for Fountotos.

Charlie Carrel Bluffs Both

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Charlie Carrel was first to act and opened for 45,000. The cutoff, Kenny Hallaert on the button, and the player in the small blind all called.

Action checked to Hallaert on the button on the flop of {6-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. The Belgian player bet 95,000 and the small blind and Carrel both called, the cutoff folded.

All three of them checked the {3-Hearts} on the turn and the {4-Hearts} completed the board. The small blind checked and Carrel tanked for some time before betting 420,000. Hallaert thought about it for some time, studying both his opponents' stacks, but folded. The small blind folded as well.

Charlie Carrel showed a big smile tabling {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. The small blind admitted having had {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, Hallaert didn't reveal anything.

Sofia Lovgren
Sofia Lovgren

We got to the table as Sofia Lovgren was moving all in for 700,000 on the button. She was facing a three-bet from Antoine Saout from early position and the initial raiser folded, and Saout quickly called.

Lovgren was at risk and well behind with {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, up against Saout's {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Saout paired his queen, while Lovgren picked up a straight draw. The turn was the {6-Hearts} and the river was the {5-Clubs}, sending Lovgren to the rail.
