Mackoff Turns Ott

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Three players put in 105,000 preflop and saw a flop of {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. Daniel Ott checked in the small blind, Jonas Mackoff bet 125,000 from the big blind, and Ryan Leng folded on the button. Ott called and they were heads up to the {Q-Diamonds} turn. Ott checked again and Mackoff bet 280,000. Ott called. They both checked the {8-Hearts} river and it was time to show down.

Ott showed {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for a pair of tens, but it was no good as Mackoff had turned a bigger pair holding {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}.

McKoy Gets River Value From Ruane

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

With what looked to be about 600,000 in the pot on the river of a {j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} board, Michael Ruane and Steve McKoy were involved in a blind-versus-blind battle.

Ruane had checked and McKoy bet 700,000, sending his opponent into the tank.

Maybe trying to offer some assistance, McKoy said, "Tell me what you have."

"Not a very good hand," replied Ruane.

Shortly after, Ruane made the call and McKoy tabled {k-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a backdoor straight.

"Fuck," yelled Ruane as he mucked his cards.

Srinivasan Doubles Through Linster

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

The camera crew rushed to the table of Mike Linster and Shyam Srinivasan to record the coinflip between the two with Srinivasan being the one at risk for his last 645,000.

Srinivasan: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Linster: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The board ran out {J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and the Canadian doubled, almost evening out stacks between them.

Lohnert Jams the River

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Florian Lohnert raised to 75,000 from early position and was called by the big blind. The flop came {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and the action was checked to Lohnert who bet 125,000. His opponent called and the {2-Clubs} landed on the turn.

The big blind checked again and Lohnert bet 335,000 this time. His opponent tanked for a couple minutes and decided to call. The river was the {q-Spades} and the action checked to Lohnert. This time, he was the one in the tank for around two minutes before moving a stack of T$100,000 chips into the pot. His opponent only had around 600,000 remaining but quickly folded his hand.

With about 500,000 in the pot on a board reading {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, David Guay moved all in from the big blind and Tracy Nguyen called for about 300,000 from the cutoff.

Nguyen was at risk and behind with {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, up against Guay's {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for two pair.

Nguyen stood up from her seat, but the river was the {q-Hearts} and she sat right back down after rivering a bigger two pair.

Schwarmann Doubles Through Maaravi

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Nick Schwarmann
Nick Schwarmann

Eyal Maaravi raised to 70,000 and Nick Schwarmann moved all in for 470,000 from the button. Once the action was back on Maaravi, he asked for a count and called half a minute later.

Schwarmann: {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Maaravi: {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

Schwarmann was trailing preflop and on the {K-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop, but the {9-Clubs} turn improved the American to a pair of nines. A blank {10-Clubs} on the river changed nothing and Schwarmann climbed back above a million in chips.

Snuffer Doubles Through Carrel in Dramatic Fashion

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Iverson Snuffer was all in from the cutoff for about 300,000 with {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}, leading Charlie Carrel's {A-Hearts}{7-Spades} in the small blind.

The flop came down {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts}, keeping Snuffer ahead with his overpair. The {A-Diamonds} landed on the turn, giving Carrel aces up to pull ahead. However, the {J-Clubs} landed on the river to give Snuffer jacks full of sixes to double through Carrel.

Aaron Been opened with a raise to 75,000 from middle position. He was called by Valentin Messina on the button. Randy Lew also called from the big blind.

All three players checked on the {J-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop and the {9-Clubs} came on the turn. Lew lead for 140,000 on the turn and quickly earned a fold from Been. Messina thought for a bit, then folded as well and that awarded the small pot to Lew without a showdown.
