Gilmore Knocks Out Two

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

From middle position, Sebastian Saffari shoved his short stack all in. Next to act, Andrew Gilmore also moved all in. It folded to Johnny Ngo in the small blind, and he also committed his stack, having barely less than Gilmore. The big blind folded, and all three hands were tabled.

Saffari: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Gilmore: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}
Ngo: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}

Ngo was in great shape to take down the three-way pot, but that all changed after the {A-Spades}{4-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} flop came down. The {3-Hearts} on the turn left Saffari drawing dead, and Ngo would need a one-outer in the river to avoid the same fate. Instead, the river was the {6-Clubs}, and Gilmore scooped the pot to more than double up, while sending two players to the rail.

Jerry Dababneh Suited and Booted

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Action folded to Jerry Dababneh who moved all in from the cutoff for 114,000. Roman Korenev on the button reshoved and the blinds folded.

Dababneh: {8-Spades}{4-Spades}
Korenev: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

There was no help from the deck for Dababneh’s suited low cards and he headed to the payout desk at a fair lick.

Valerstein Chipping Up

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Akash Malik moved all in from middle position for 184,000 and action folded around to Roman Valerstein in the small blind. After a bit of thought, he three-bet, the big blind folded, and he and Malik tabled their hands.

Valerstein: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Malik: {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Valerstein had a massive lead with his kings and he extended it on the {K-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop when he hit top set. Neither the {2-Spades} turn nor {3-Diamonds} river was any help to Malik and Valerstein took the pot to send him to the cage.

Valerstein Rivers Two Pair

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Three players went to the turn of a board reading {10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}. Samuel Vonkennel checked to Michael Buchmiller, who bet out 35,000. Roman Valerstein called on the button, and Vonkennel ducked out of the way.

The {Q-Hearts} completed the board, and this time, Buchmiller checked. Valerstein went for the same bet of 35,000, Buchmiller called, and Valerstein tabled {Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for two pair. Buchmiller mucked his hand, and Valerstein scooped the pot.

Alexander Soaring

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Shaotong Chang raised to 33,000 from early position and Dejuante Alexander three-bet to 70,000 from the hijack. Chang four-bet jammed and Alexander called to put her at risk.

Chang: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Alexander: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

Chang was flipping for her tournament life and had the preflop advantage with her jacks. She stayed ahead on the {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop, but Alexander caught up on the {A-Clubs} turn. The {Q-Clubs} on the river didn't improve Chang and Alexander took the pot to send her to the cage and put his stack over the 1,000,000-chip mark.

Shappelle Shows

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Kyle Shappelle has just wandered into Miranda to take his seat looking slightly sheepish.

Nothing mysterious about his late appearance, his phone was on silent and he had just slept in.
