Robert Spano Eliminated in 9th Place

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Robert Spano
Robert Spano

Robert Spano lost a majority of his chips to Ebon Bokody when Spano called down a with a flush draw against Bokody but didn't hit. Both players checked the river of that hand and Bokody took the pot down with ace-high to beat Spano's seven-high.

In Spano's elimination hand, Ebon Bokody opened with a raise in early position to 11,000 holding {A-Spades}{7-Spades}. Spano then shoved on button for 13,000 with {q-Spades}{6-Spades}. Michael Egan calls in the small blind with {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Qiang Fu called in the big blind with {K-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The flop was {K-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Egan checked to Fu who bet 30,000 and Bokody folded. Action was back on Egan who called.

The turn was the {J-Hearts} and Egan checked again. Fu then checked behind.

The river was the {Q-Diamonds} and Egan checks and Fu checked behind, so Fu took down the pot with his two pair.
