Welcome to the WSOPC Sydney Main Event Final Table

Final nine chip leader Rahul Rastogi is the man to beat
Final nine chip leader Rahul Rastogi is the man to beat

The final nine players remaining in the WSOP International Circuit $2,200 Main Event have returned to action at The Star in Sydney to play to a winner.

Rahul Rastogi has the chip lead with 7,935,000 chips, nearly a million more then nearest rival Matt Pongrass. Rastogi has just over seven million chips and will be a force to be reckoned with after eliminating Lior Segre late on Day 3, after rivering a straight against a set, to give himself a great shot at taking home the WSOP Circuit ring and $442,796 top prize.

Rastogi and Pongrass won't have everything their own way, however, with all nine remaining players desperate to take down the title and improve on the $41,733 they'll be guaranteed for being the next man to exit.

Alex Lynskey, who sits third in chips, currently sits ninth on the Australia All Time Money list. A victory today would see him rocket up to sixth place passing Kahle Burns, Mel Judah and Michael Addamo in the process and leaving him a small cash away from passing David Steicke to cement his spot in the top five.

Luke Martinelli is having an amazing series after taking down the $20,000 High Roller just three days ago. Martinelli bagged a top five stack after his opening flight in the main event and took the time off before Day 2 to capture his first WSOP circuit ring. He is just eight eliminations away from adding another one to his collection in the space of one week.

Here's how the players will line up when they return to the felt today.

Seat Player Chip Count
1 Luke Martinelli 5,245,000
2 Barry Forrester 2,105,000
3 Justin Layden 3,150,000
4 Alex Lynskey 5,520,000
5 Rahul Rastogi 7,935,000
6 Cameron Chen 1,815,000
7 John Sormi 1,550,000
8 Matt Pongrass 6,950,000
9 Sam Capra 2,155,000

With play set to begin at 12.30pm local time, the live stream with hole cards will be broadcast from 2.00pm local time on a one-and-a-half hour delay. Who will win themselves the gold WSOP Circuit ring as we play to a finish? Stay tuned to PokerNews to find out.
