Wakeman Keeps Adding to His Massive Stack

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Billy Argyros opened with a raise to 43,000 from early position with {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and action folded to the button where Matt Wakeman called with his {A-Spades}{10-Spades}. Everyone else folded and it was heads up to a flop.

The flop was {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Argyros continued with a bet of 57,000. Wakeman set the trap with his two pair and just called.

On the {2-Spades} turn, Argyros shut down and checked, then folded quickly to a bet of 125,000 from Wakeman.

With that pot, Wakeman moved over 2 million while Argyros was left with just over 350,000.

Billy Argyros: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Isaac Lau: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The board ran out the {8-Diamonds} and {j-Clubs} to see Argyros hold with his dominant kicker as he doubled up.

Cold Four Bet Gets Through For Boskovic, Argyros Folds Queens

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Billy Argyros opens with a raise to 30,000 with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} from the cutoff. Action folds to the button and Isaac Lau three-bets, making it 65,000 from the button holding {10-Spades}{6-Spades}. Next to act is Dejan Boskovic in the small blind with {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}. He four-bets making it 155,000. Action folds back to Argyros and he tanks for quite some time before he eventually folds his queens. Boskovic Makes McCully a Believer

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action folded around to Dejan Boskovic in the small blind who raised. Joshua McCully called from the big blind.

Both players checked the {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop before the {k-Spades} dropped on the turn. Boskovic bet 31,000. McCully called.

The {8-Spades} completed the board and Boskovic slid out 85,000. McCully thought for a minute before reluctantly calling.

Boskovic then showed {k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for trip kings and took down the pot defeating McCully's {q-Spades}{4-Spades} which had made two pair.

Wakeman Continues to Dominate

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Sean Dunwoodie opened with a raise to 25,000 and he found a call from Matt Wakeman in the small blind and Hauman Darbani in the big blind.

The flop was {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and all three players checked to see the {K-Hearts} drop on the turn. There, Wakeman checked. Darbani decided to put out ab et of 50,000. Dunwoodie then raised, making it 127,000. Wakeman dropped into the tank. After about a minute, he moved all in with a covering stack on both players. Both of his opponents quickly folded so Wakeman took down another big pot.

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
David Wang
David Wang

Action folded to the cutoff where David Wang moved all in for 51,000. Action folded to the big blind where Billy Argyros tanked for a bit before calling.

David Wang: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Billy Argyros: {K-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

The flop was devastating for Wang when it dropped {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and he while he picked up a gutshot straight draw, he failed to hit as the board completed with the {9-Hearts} and the {5-Hearts}. With that, Wang hit the rail in 11th place and he'll collect $19,118 for his efforts.
