Zac Lowrie opened with a raise from the hijack seat to 25,000. Action folded to the big blind where Sheng Ye defended with a call.

The flop was {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Ye checked it over to Lowrie who continued with a bet of 26,000. Ye then woke up with a check-raise to 100,000. Lowrie considered it for a moment before calling.

On the {Q-Clubs} turn, Ye checked. Lowrie put out a bet of 85,000. Ye then moved all in for about 180,000 more. Lowrie snapped him off.

Zac Lowrie: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Sheng Ye: {9-Spades}{4-Spades}

Ye flopped two pair but Lowrie had flopped a set and was in a prime position to send another player to the rail. The river was the {A-Spades} and that would be the end of Ye. For his 12th place finish, Ye will collect $6,244.

Lowrie's River Over-Bet Gets Paid to Push Him Into the Chip Lead

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Zac Lowrie opened with a raise to 34,000 from the cutoff and he found a call from Sayed Jabbour in the small blind.

The flop came down {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{3-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {6-Spades} on the turn. There, Jabbour checked. Lowrie put out a bet of 38,000. Jabbour called.

The river was the {5-Hearts} and Jabbour checked. Lowrie then put together a bet of 240,000, much more than the size of the pot. Jabbour didn't waste too long before calling. Lowrie showed down his {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs} for two pair and a frustrated Jabbour showed his {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a worse two pair.

With that pot, Lowrie breached one million chips and sits as the current chip leader with about 1,350,000 chips.
