It’s time for some six max action here at The Star Sydney as Event #8: $1,320 No-Limit Hold’em Six-Max kicks off shortly on Sunday, December 9, 2018. This event features a guarantee of $400,000 and is sure to bring out some of the games brightest and entertaining players.

Last year, Timothy Ulmer bested a field of 341 entries to take down this event here at The Star Sydney. Ulmer, who traveled across the ocean for the event, bested a final table that included the likes of Jarrod Thatcher and Tristian Wade as well.

For his prize, Ulmer took home $93,787 and his first World Series of Poker Circuit ring. But that wasn’t the end for Ulmer’s run at The Star Sydney last year. Later on in the series, he would also take down the bounty event as well locking up his second ring.

This event will feature starting stacks of 20,000 with the blinds starting at 50/100. Players will have just one chance to re-enter this event. The plan for Day 1 is to play 15, 40-minute levels with a break after every three levels. Players will then return for Day 2 on Monday, December 10th where they will play down to a winner.

Of course, PokerNews will be around providing live updates throughout the tournament so make sure to stay tuned in as another WSOPC ring is awarded here at The Star Sydney.
