Stan L. Applies the Pressure

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

James Broom raised to 400 from under the gun and was called by John Conomos on the button as well as Stan L. in the big blind.

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and the action checked around to Conomos who bet 600. Stan L. then raised to 1,600. Broom folded. Conomos called.

The turn fell the {10-Clubs} and Stan L. fired out 2,500. Conomos called.

The {9-Clubs} completed the board and Stan L. immediately reached for chips and tossed out 4,500. Conomos thought for a second before mucking his hand.

Audibert Doubles Through Lee

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

With around 9,000 already in the pot and the board showing {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts} Johan Audibert bet 3,500 from the blinds before Andy Lee raised to 7,000 from the button. Audibert called.

The {6-Hearts} completed the board and Audibert checked. Lee immediately moved all in having Audibert covered. Audibert snap-called with 10,075 behind.

Lee rolled over his {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a straight but was shocked when Audibert then revealed his {9-Spades}{10-Spades} for the nut-straight and the winning hand.

Trevillian Gets His River Raise Paid Off

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Action was on the river with a board of {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades}{A-Spades} and Brett Trevillian was first to act in a three-way pot. He checked and his first opponent put out a bet of 2,200 into a pot of about 3,000. The other player in the hand called before Trevillian sprung to life with a check-raise, making it 8,000. His first opponent mulled it over for a bit, then called while the other player in the hand folded.

Trevillian revealed his {K-Spades}{6-Spades} for a flush and his opponent let out a groan. He showed his {Q-Spades}{9-Spades} for a slightly lower flush. With that, Trevillian was able to take down the pot and chip up to about 35,000 chips.

Varma Forced to Fold the River

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Action was on the turn with the board showing {K-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{A-Spades} and the player in the blind checked it over to Hari Varma who was in position. Varma decided to put out a bet of 1,800 which his opponent called creating a pot of right around 7,000.

The river was the {7-Spades} and the player in the blind checked again. Varma put out a bet of 3,500, representing a significant portion of his remaining stack. The player in the blinds thought it over for a bit, then moved all in. Varma snap folded, leaving himself with just under 5,000.

Demlakian Doubles

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante
Ken Demlakian
Ken Demlakian

All the money went into the middle after the turn dropped on a {8-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds} board.

Ken Demlakian was the all in player for 7,950 and revealed {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a straight. His opponent tabled {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and had outs to a full house.

The {7-Hearts} on the river would change nothing and Demlakian would be awarded the pot to see him rise above the starting-stack.

Limp Back-Raise Works Out For Trevillian

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

A player limped in from the hijack and another limped in from the hijack. Brett Trevillian was in the small blind and he limped as well. Hannah Lee in the big blind then raised, making it 1,400. The hijack called as did the cutoff before Trevillian made it 10,000. Lee dropped into the tank and thought for about 30 seconds before folding. The hijack and cutoff both folded as well so Trevillian took down the pot.

"Limp four ways and you back-raise from the small blind?" Lee questioned. "What was your plan there?"

"It's six max," Trevillian said with a smile.

With that Trevillian chipped up to almost 30,000 chips while Lee dropped down under the starting stack mark.
