Pappas Doubles Through Dhingra

Level 7 : 300/600, 50 ante

Gautam Dhingra raised to 1,300 from the cutoff and was called by Steve Pappas in the big blind.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Pappas checked. Dhingra bet out 1,700. Pappas then moved all in for 15,700. Dhingra checked his cards quickly then called.

Steve Pappas: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Gautam Dhingra: {6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

Both players had flopped a flush draw with Pappas drawing to the ace-high flush. Dhingra had outs going to the turn but the {2-Diamonds} would see him drawing dead. The meaningless {2-Spades} completed the board and Pappas was awarded the pot.

Kellett Shoves on Khouiss

Level 7 : 300/600, 50 ante

Action was on the turn with a board of {4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and Nathan Sawyers was first to act. He checked over to Richard Kellett in the big blind who put out a bet of 6,500. Ali Khouiss was next to act in early position and he called. Sawyers folded so the two were heads up to the river.

The river was the {A-Spades} and this time Kellett moved in for 11,050. That put Khouiss into the tank.

"If it were anyone else I would've snap called," Khouiss said. "Do you have seven-decue of clubs?"

Kellett stayed silent.

"Will you show if I fold?" Khouiss asked.

Again Kellett was silent. Khouis eventually folded, showing his {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and Kellette raked in the pot without saying a word or showing a card.

An Embarrassing Hand for Lau

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

Richard Kellett opened with a raise from the hijack seat to 1,900. Isaac Lau called in the small blind and Tully Sakellariou called in the big blind.

The flop was {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Lau checked. Sakellariou put out a bet of 2,200 and Kellett quickly folded. Lau called though and it was on to the turn.

On the {4-Diamonds} turn, both players checked. They checked again on the {K-Clubs} river. Neither player looked too particularly interested in showing down their hands and Lau finally turned up his {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades} sheepishly. This prompted some laughs from Sakellariou.

"He's embarrassed to show and I was too scared to bet," Sakellariou said. He showed his {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades} for queen-high and a missed gut-shot as well, so with his jack kicker, Lau earned the pot.
