Abrol Backs Into the Nuts But Doesn't Get Paid

Level 7 : 250/500, 75 ante
Anju Abrol
Anju Abrol

Action was heads-up on the river with right around 25,000 in the pot. The board showed {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Anju Abrol was first to act and she put out a bet of 25,000. Her opponent dropped into the tank.

"What do you think I have?" the player asked before he was warned not to talk durning heads-up action. He thought it over for a while, then the clock was called on him after a couple of minutes. He used almost his entire time bank before folding, saying that he had {A-Spades}{K-Spades}.

Abrol showed her {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for the nuts, letting her opponent know he made a good fold. With that she took down the pot and chipped up to around 85,000.

Hargrave Falls at the Hands of Henna

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante
Johnathan Hargrave
Johnathan Hargrave

Luke Henna opened with a raise to 1,100 in early position. Johnathan Hargrave called two seats over. Action folded to the big blind who called as well.

The flop was {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and the big blind checked. Henna put out a bet of 625. Hargrave called while the big blind folded.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Henna continued, betting 1,350. Hargrave then raised, making it 3,800. Henna thought about it for a bit, then called.

On the {2-Clubs} river, Henna took a look at Hargrave's stack, then moved all in for roughly 17,500 effective. Hargrave leaned back and thought it over, then called. Henna showed down {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades} for a bigger full house than the one on the board. Hargrave flashed pocket nines as he made his exit.

With that Henna took the big pot down and moved to nearly 100,000 chips.

Richardson Gets Caught Bluffing

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Action was heads up on a flop of {5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Ben Richardson was first to act. He checked to his opponent who put out a bet of 675. Richardson then check-raised, making it 1,900. His opponent thought it over then called.

On the {4-Hearts} turn, both players checked to see the {2-Clubs} on the river. There, Richardson made it 6,000. His opponent thought it over for a while, then called. Richardson showed his {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and his opponent showed down his {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for ace-high which was good to take down the pot. With that Richardson dropped down to under 80,000.

"You got me for value last time," his opponent said.

"I should've bet bigger," Richardson said.

"The bigger you bet the faster I snap," his opponent said.
