Seymour Applies the Pressure

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

Steve Pappas limped into the pot from under the gun before the player in the cutoff raised to 1,200. Michael Seymour called from the button as did the player in the small blind. Pappas made it four to the flop.

The flop came {7-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades} and the action checked to the cutoff who continued for 2,600. Only Seymour matched the bet.

The turn dropped the {10-Diamonds} and the cutoff checked. Seymour reached for his chips and tossed out 6,000.

His opponent thought for a minute before releasing his hand to the muck.

Varma Doesn't Reveal His Strength

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

The board showed {2-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and around 8,000 had accumulated in the pot.

Hari Varma had raised to 14,000 after his opponent fired out a 5,700 river bet.

Eventually, Varma scooped in the pot after his opponent mucked his hand.

"How strong?" asked Varma, with a smile.

"Very! I didn't need that last card," replied his opponent cheefully.

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Errolyn Strang raised to 1,200 from under the gun and was called by the players in the hijack and cutoff, Zhi Ma on the button, as well as the player in the small blind.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{5-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and the action checked around to Ma who bet 4,200. The small blind quickly called.
