Graham Gets Paid By Larsson

Level 6 : 300/600, 0 ante

Jarred Graham raised from the button and was called by Mikael Larsson in the small blind as well as the player in the big blind.

The three players checked the {j-Spades}{k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop before the {9-Clubs} dropped on the turn.

The blinds checked to Graham who bet 2,600. Larsson raised to 7,000. The big blind folded. Graham called.

The {8-Spades} completed the board and Larsson checked. Graham thought for a minute then bet 3,000.

Larsson smiled, then made the call, placing the 3,000 directly in front of Graham as if knowing he had lost.

Graham tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a full house which was enough to take down the pot.

Monsour Rails Hia

Level 6 : 300/600, 0 ante

Christine Hia's tournament is over courtesy of Ramin Mansour. Accord to Hia, the pair got all the chips in on a king-high two spade flop with Hia holding a {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-} and Monsour holding {a-}{a-}{k-}{x-}.

Hia was drawing live but was trailing to Mansour's aces and a non-spade {k-} on the turn and brick on the river saw Hia head off to the cash games to try her luck, while Monsour stacked up to 110,000

Argyros Shoves Dark

Level 6 : 300/600, 0 ante

The player under the gun limped into the pot before Mohammed Elkassir raised to 2,200 from the cutoff. Billy Argyros then three-bet to 7,400 from the small blind. The original limper mucked. Elkassir called.

Before the flop came out Argyros moved all in for his last 8,000.

"Well you haven't called so that must be good," said Argyros, after the dealer produced the {q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts} flop.

"I have black cards and a big pair," replied Elkassir, before releasing his hand to the muck.

Argyros then showed off his cards one by one, the {a-Diamonds} then {q-Spades} and finally the {k-Spades}, before mucking the last card and collecting the pot.

Kempson wins Three-way

Corey Kempson

James Obst has moved tables following the break and is now seated to the direct left of Corey Kempson with the pair tangling in a three-way pot with another player in the cutoff.

With 3,500 in the pot on a flop of {j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades}, Kempson (small blind) has checked the flop over to Obst (big blind) who led out for 2,500. After the cutoff called, Kempson check-raised full pot, slapping down a fat stack of yellow 25k chips.

Obst folded quickly, and while he took a little more time over it, eventually so did the cutoff leaving Kempson free to drag in the pot.

Mansour Barrels Against Hassan

Level 6 : 300/600, 0 ante

Ramin Mansour raised to 2,000 from under the gun and was called by Huss Hassan in the hijack.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Mansour continued for 4,000. Hassan called.

The turn fell the {2-Spades} and Mansour tossed out a 5,000-chip. Hassan replicated a moment later.

The {q-Hearts} completed the board and Mansour fired one last bet totalling 8,500. Hassan deliberated for several minutes before finally releasing his hand to the muck.

Hia Folds Out Sitbon

Level 6 : 300/600, 0 ante
Christine Hia
Christine Hia

Julien Sitbon has spun his second bullet up to ~100,000 or so, but has shipped some chips the way of Malaysia's Christine Hia in a hand.

The action was picked up on the flop with 5,400 in the pot with the community cards spread a monochrome {j-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}.

First to act, small blind Huss Hassan checked, as did Hia and Sitbon slid out a bet of 2,400. While this was enough to get Hassan to fold, Hia had other plans and check-raised to 11,000 in total.

Sitbon eyed up Hia's stack (roughly 35,000 or so at this point) and elected to muck, leaving Hia free to scoop the pot and climb to 42,500 after the hand.

He Hands Wan a Beat

Level 6 : 300/600, 0 ante

With the community cards spread {7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Spades} and 9,900 in the pot, Ricky He (hijack) led out for a pot-sized bet and called all-in for his tournament life when Vincent Wan re-raised from the cutoff.

Ricky He: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Vincent Wan: {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}

Wan had flopped the straight and He's pair of jacks were trailing, though He had picked up a backdoor spade draw, which duly arrived on the {4-Spades} river.

"I didn't put you on that at all," said He sheepishly as he raked in the pot.

Wan stoically shipped over the chips to drop to 43,500, while He climbed to 51,900.

He Outflops Mansour

Level 5 : 200/400, 0 ante
Ramin Mansour
Ramin Mansour

Following an under-the-gun limp from Ramin Mansour, a short-stacked Ricky He made it 1,800 to go, with Julien Sitbon (big blind) and Mansour making the call to take the action three-way to a flop of {9-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{2-Spades}.

Both Sitbon and Mansour checked it over to He, who tossed in his last 1,500 in chips with Mansour the only caller.

Ramin Mansour: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Ricky He: {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}

He was at risk but had the best of it, though Monsour had outs and the {q-Hearts} gave him a few more to hit going into the river. However, the {5-Diamonds} was not one of them and He kept his tournament hopes alive to climb to 8,900.

"What are you doing to me Ricky," ribbed Mansour good-naturedly as the pot was shipped He's way.

"This is my first time playing Omaha, I don't know." bantered back He cheerfully as he stacked up his chips.
