Ted Lawson was crippled by Andy Bloch. Lawson missed a straight draw and a flush draw and slipped to 75,000. He busted out shortly after.

Bloch increased his stack to 420,000.

Word on the grapevine is that Sherkhan Farnood owns the Kabul Bank in Dubai and perhaps didn't require backers for this event.

He's obviously a very friendly banker, loaning out a chunk of chips to John Duthie and doubling up the EPT entrepreneur in the process.
