Since When Was Doyle Brunson Irish?

My resident Irish expert here is Mike Lacey. Well, I say expert, when in fact he's just an Irish drunk at the bar who knows his fellow countrymen better than I do.

Hoooooooold up... let's go back a second. Doyle Brunson?! Since when was he Irish?? Mike then went on to try and claim Hoyt Corkins, Andy Bloch, and any other American player who wandered into the vicinity... Sigh!
