Life of Brian

In what turned out to be a war of the short-stacks, Brian Johnson managed to double up courtesy of Dario Pavan with {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} against {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. No change on a {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{J-Hearts} gave Johnson the pot, whilst a down-to-the-felt Pavan departed a few hands later.

Meanwhile, and on the same table, Anthony Ho dropped to a paltry 15,000 after losing a {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} versus {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} encounter on a {9-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds} board. The victor was an elderly Frenchman, but one who appears to have eaten his ID card.
