Tabatabai-Bye, Bubble Boy

Innate cool or spider poisoning?
Innate cool or spider poisoning?
Action at last! And it's pretty ugly action at that.

John Tabatabai raised, and Peter Gould reraised. Folds all round, naturally, Tabatabai moved all in, Gould called, and they were on their backs.

Tabatabai: {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds}
Gould: {7-Spades} {7-Diamonds}

Board: {7-Clubs} {J-Spades} {10-Hearts} {9-Hearts} ("I'd settle for an eight," said Gould generously) {10-Spades}

Thus Mr. Tabatabai, who famously finished second in this event two years ago, is our unlucky bubbler. He took it with absolute grace and equanimity, which may be due to his consummate sportsmanship, or could be down to the alleged spider bite which seems to have slightly paralysed his facial muscles. Either way, he is our 37th place finisher, and everyone else is in the money.

With that, it has been decided to quit for the night. Congratulations all!
