Chartier Tanks Deep and Folds

Shawn Buchanan brought us up to speed in a major hand between Sam Chartier and Matan Krakow. The action was already on the river and Chartier was taking for at least 6 minutes. Buchanan told us Krakow three-bet pre flop and Chartier called in position. The flop was {6-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Chartier called a 6,000 bet.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and Krakow followed through with a 17,000 bet. Chartier had 38,000 when he called and the river brought out the {10-Spades}. Krakow shoved which put Chartier all-in who tanked for ages before finally folding. The Canadian was far from happy and will be one of the short stacks when we get back from dinner.

Michael Friedrich raised to 2,500 and Bruno Benveniste made it 6,000 from the small blind. David Benyamine was lurking in the shallow waters of the big blind and he made the cold-call before Friedrich folded. The flop was perfect.

Flop: {Q-Spades} {7-Spades} {6-Clubs}

Benveniste moved all-in and Benyamine called.

Benyamine{7-Hearts} {7-Clubs}
Benveniste{A-Hearts} {Q-Hearts}

Turn: {7-Diamonds}

Quads for Benyamine and a double up in the process.

Finally Some Action, Freidrich Doubles

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Michael Freidrich just managed to find a double up on the bubble. There were multiple hands going to showdown while this hand was going on so was only saw the money go in on the turn.

The board read {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{5-Spades} when Pollak got Freidrich's chips into the pot and they went to showdown.

Michael Freidrich{K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Benjamin Pollak{A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The river was the {5-Diamonds} and Freidrich double to almost 100,000 chips. Pollak still has 95,000 chips in front of him.
