Dorfman Sends Mizrachi Packing

Randy Dorfman is having a great day so far, he just busted Michael Mizrachi rocketing himself up to 61,000 chips. Mizrachi got his last chips into the pot on a {4-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{8-Spades} flop and we got to see both players cards.

Michael Mizrachi{A-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}

The turn was the {J-Spades} giving Mizrachi the straight but the {8-Diamonds} on the river paired the board giving Dorfman the winning full house.

Level 5 : 150/300, 0 ante

Jack Effel has just announced that we have 180 players contributing to a prizepool of €882,000.

18 players get paid with the 18th player receiving €11,828.

Top prize is going to be €238,140.

Double Up For O'Dea

We arrived at the table to see the action on the turn. The board was showing {10-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {5-Clubs} {2-Spades} and November Niner, Eoghan O'Dea, was all-in for 8,300 on the button and Michael Mizrachi was facing the decision from early position.

"I think you have a drawing hand," said Mizrachi as he made the call.

O'Dea actually had a made hand, and to go one better, a better made hand than Mizrachi.

O'Dea{A-Spades} {A-Clubs} {10-Spades} {9-Hearts}
Mizrachi{K-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {9-Spades}

"A chip off the old block…always got aces or kings," said the Devilfish referring to Eoghan's father Donnachie.

Lots and Lots and Lots of Outs

Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

The dealer had already laid out the flop of {9-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {2-Clubs} when [Removed:146] bet 9,000 from the small blind. Bertrand Grospellier and Francis Dubois both folded but Daniel Negreanu made the call on the button. The turn was the {3-Hearts}, Guerfi bet 2,100 and Negreanu called. By the time the dealer had planted the {K-Hearts} into the table both players had decided they wanted to see a showdown and it was Guerfi who won the hand.

Ludovic Lacay Put Back Down Again

Just after moving up to 14,000, Ludovic Lacay was pulled back down to 8,000 by Francis Dubois.

It was Daniel Negreanu who started things off with a raise of 650 from middle position and Dubois called in the cut-off and Ludovic Lacay three-bet to 2,000 from the button. Negreanu folded but Dubois made the call.

The flop was {10-Hearts} {7-Spades} {6-Clubs} and both players checked. The turn was the {Q-Clubs} and once again both players checked. The final card to leave the deck was the {J-Diamonds} and Lacay bet 3,700 and Dubois, surprisingly, thought so long about the decision that the clock was put on him. With two-seconds remaining Dubois made the call and it was good.
