Konstantin Uspenskiy raised pre flop to 10,500 from early position as action got folded to Jason Mercier who potted to 35,000 from the small blind. Uspenskiy pushed all-in and Mercier followed with the call.

Jason Mercier{A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Konstantin Uspenskiy{A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} and that's it for Mercier who won't be collecting his third gold bracelet.

Michel Abecassis
Michel Abecassis

Sam Tricket raised on the button to 10,000, Michel Abecassis was in the small blind and potted for 34,000. Trickett made the call giving us {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} on the flop. Abecassis shoved for 30,000 in the dark giving Trickett the option. The Brit called giving us another showdown.

Sam Trickett{5-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Michel Abecassis{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{A-Hearts}

The turn was the {6-Spades} and the river the {K-Hearts} giving Trickett yet another knockout. Trickett has already won over three million dollar this year and also has the Partouche Main Event final table to look forward to. At the moment this tournament will have priority since he is gunning for his first WSOP bracelet.

Sean Dempsey (15th) and Shawn Buchanan (14th) Eliminated (€14,147)

Steve Billirakis
Steve Billirakis

From the under the gun position Shawn Buchanan raised to 10,000. Action got folded to Shawn Buchanan who called from the small blind. Sean Dempsey, who's been short for a while, decided to pot for a total of 40,000 from the big blind with only 12,000 behind. Buchanan was next to act and he repotted for 130,000 total with 46,000 behind. Billirakis went in the tank for quite some time, as usual, and finally shoved putting both his opponents all-in. Demspey and Buchanan called quickly creating a monster pot!

Sean Dempsey{K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Shawn Buchanan{A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Steve Billirakis{K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

The flop brought out {J-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} giving Billirakis the last king in the deck to hit his set. Buchanan could still win with an ace or a queen while Dempsey was hoping for a seven to make a straight or running diamonds. The turn was the {3-Hearts} killing Dempsey's back door draw and the river, the {2-Diamonds}, sealed the deal. Billirakis has mountains of chips in front of him as we see Buchanan and Dempsey leave the room.

Steve Billirakis limped into the pot and called a Michel Abecassis 18,000 button raise. The flop was {J-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and again both players checked. The final card to leave the dealers hand was the {2-Hearts} and a 26,000 Billirakis bet won the pot.

Elie Payan Eliminated in 17th Place (€11,828)

Elie Payan
Elie Payan

We caught the action on the flop when there was {4-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{8-Clubs} on the board. From the small blind Payan betted 32,000 which was pot. Billirakis tanked for a solid two minutes before putting Payan all-in who only had 38,000 chips behind. Payan called giving us a showdown.

Steve Billirakis{Q-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Elie Payan{A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades}

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and the river the {Q-Hearts} giving Billirakis a flush. Payan didn't see the flush and for a second he was convinced he won the hand. Payan left disappointed as the dealer pointed out the winning flush, we're down to 16 players.

Buchanan Wins With Aces

Shawn Buchanan raised to 6,500 in early position, Elie Payan called one seat to his left as did Eoghan O'Dea in the big blind. The flop left the dealers hand and fell onto the felt {Q-Spades} {3-Spades} {2-Hearts} and O'Dea took the betting lead with a stab of 13,000. Buchanan, who had a stack of similar size of O'Dea, made the call and Payan folded. The turn was the {2-Clubs} and O'Dea bet 14,000 to leave himself 81,000 behind and once again Buchanan called. The river was the {4-Diamonds} and both players decided that a showdown was +EV for both parties.

Buchanan{A-Hearts} {A-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {6-Hearts}
O'Dea{K-Clubs} {K-Spades} {x-} {x-}

Buchanan's aces hold up and he wins the hand.
