MacPhee MacBust

Level 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

Kevin MacPhee is out as well. We overheard him tell his exit hand to Dominik Nitsche.

Brian Powell opened to 150 and and picked up three callers (including MacPhee in the SB) en route to a {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop. The action checked around to Hans Winzeler on the button and he bet 400. MacPhee called, as did one other.

The turn came {8-Spades} MacPhee led out for 1,175. Only Winzeler called to the {k-Hearts} river where he snapped off MacPhee's over-jam for about 5,800. The American tabled {a-Spades}{2-Spades} for the nut flush, but his opponent tabled an unbeatable pair of red eights for quads.
