Bonnet Can't Call Krakow's River Shove

Yannick Bonnet
Yannick Bonnet

Action folded to start-of-the-day chip leader Yannick Bonnet in the cutoff seat. He opened the action with a raise to 14,000. On the button, Matan Krakow reraised to 30,000. Play folded back to Bonnet, and he called to see the flop.

After the dealer spread the {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop, Bonnet and Krakow each checked. The {J-Hearts} was then added to the board on the turn, and Bonnet slid out 33,000. Krakow made the call.

The river was the {3-Hearts}, which was followed by a bet of 51,000 from Bonnet. With 111,000 in chips, Krakow moved all in. Bonnet took a minute or two, then folded, and Krakow won the pot.

Sylvain Ribes Eliminated in 6th Place (€22,876)

Sylvain Ribes
Sylvain Ribes

Sylvain Ribes and Imed Ben Mahmoud got all the money in preflop with two big pairs. Unfortunately for Ribes, Mahmoud's pair was a bit bigger.

Ribes: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Mahmoud: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

The board stayed clean for Mahmoud as it ran out {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts} and he won the pot. At the final count of the chips, Mahmoud had 241,000 to Ribes' 216,000. Ribes was eliminated in sixth place and earned €22,876 for his effort.

Demis Hassabis Eliminated in 7th Place (€16,529)

Demis Hassabis
Demis Hassabis

Action folded to Demis Hassabis in the small blind and he raised to 41,000, leaving himself with just 20,000 behind. In the big blind, Imed Ben Mahmoud reraised all in. Hassabis called and the cards were on their backs.

Hassabis: {K-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Mahmoud: {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Hassabis was all in and at risk, but not in good shape. Mahmoud had him dominated with a flop, turn and river to come.

The flop came down {A-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Mahmoud stayed in front. The turn was the {6-Hearts} and now Hassabis was left needing just a three on the river to double up.

The {4-Spades} completed the board on fifth street and Hassabis was eliminated. He finished in seventh place and took home €16,529.

Krakow Shoves On Hassabis

From under the gun, Demis Hassabis raised to 12,000 and left 79,000 behind. Action then folded to Matan Krakow in the big blind. He slid one of his stacks of 20,000 over towards Hassabis' stack and mentioned that he was sizing it up to see if they were in stacks of 20. He then pulled his stack back and announced that he was all in. Hassabis tanked for a bit, then folded, and Krakow won the pot.

Four-Bet from Ung

From early position, Senh Ung raised to 12,000 to kick things off. Matan Krakow reraised on the button to 27,000 before play folded back to Ung. He wasted little time in putting out a four-bet to 68,000. Krakow snap-folded and Ung won the pot to move to over 300,000 in chips.
