Hellmuth Raised Off On River

From the cutoff seat, Romain Chauvassagne raised to 3,500. Phil Hellmuth was the only player to make the call, and he did so out of the big blind. The flop then came out {J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Hellmuth checked. Chauvassagne bet 5,000 and Hellmuth quickly called.

The turn card was the {4-Clubs} and Hellmuth had checked in the dark to his opponent. Chauvassagne thought for a minute and then checked back.

The river completed the board with the {Q-Clubs} and Hellmuth led for 4,800. Chauvassagne raised to 10,000 and Hellmuth gave it up.
