One for Bonnet

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Igors Kalinicenko raised to 4,500 from the cutoff seat. Yannick Bonnet called from the button and Serge Chechin called from the big blind. Then, the action was checked to Kalinicenko on the {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop. He bet 6,000 and only Bonnet called.

The turn was the {K-Hearts} and both players checked to see the {2-Diamonds} land on the river. Kalinicenko checked, Bonnet fired 14,000, and Kalinicenko folded.

Aces Give Romanello Big Double Through Baker

Roberto Romanello
Roberto Romanello

From the hijack seat, David "ODB" Baker raised to 4,000. Roberto Romanello reraised to 11,000 on the button and then play folded back around to Baker. He took some time before reraising to 28,000. Romanello thought for a minute then moved all in for 73,000. Baker quickly called.

Baker: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Romanello: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}

The flop was {J-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Baker couldn't find much. He had Romanello covered, but it would be for roughly half his stack if he lost this one.

The turn delivered the {6-Hearts} to leave Baker drawing dead, then the river completed the board with the {9-Clubs}. Baker counted out what he owed and sent the chips Romanello's way.

Romanello stacked up to 150,000, while Baker dropped to 71,000.

Jennifer Tilly Eliminated in 17th Place (€6,548)

Jennifer Tilly - 17th Place
Jennifer Tilly - 17th Place

Jennifer Tilly raised all in for 20,900 from the hijack seat before action fell on Matan Krakow in the cutoff seat. He took a minute to think about things, then made the call. On the button was Ruben Velasco and he squeezed his cards slow. Then, he reraised to an even 50,000. Action folded back to Krakow and he also gave it up, leaving Tilly all in and at risk against Velasco.

Velasco: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Tilly: {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}

As you can see, Tilly wasn't in good shape, but there wasn't much she could do. The board ran out {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and Velasco's three queens gave him the bounty. Tilly finished in 17th place for over €6,500.

From the cutoff seat, Yannick Bonnet opened with a raise to 5,000. Yann Migeon reraised all in from the small blind for 51,100. After receiving a count, Bonnet called.

Bonnet turned over the {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and was ahead of Migeon's {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. After the board ran out {7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, Migeon was eliminated in 16th place.
