Mizrachi's Good Call Sends Jarvinen Home

Picking up the action on the {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop, Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi and Ran Azor checked the action to Tuomas Jarvinen. Jarvinen fired a bet of 4,500 and Mizrachi called. Azor folded.

The turn was the {Q-Diamonds} and Mizrachi checked to his opponent. Jarvinen fired a larger bet of 12,000 this time. Mizrachi made the call.

After the {4-Diamonds} landed on the river, Mizrachi checked. Jarvinen moved all in for 13,650 and Mizrachi studied. He gave Jarvinen a look up and down, then made the call after a minute.

Jarvinen showed the {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for air. Mizrachi tabled the {K-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for a pair of nines and won the pot.

Kollmann Extends His Lead

Yuval Bronshtein just raised pre flop from early position and both blinds called. Erich Kollmann was in the small blind and he lead out for 5,500 on the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop. Ben Roberts was in the big blind, and he opted to fold.

Bronshtein called the bet, and heads up they saw the turn. On the turn the {8-Spades} popped up and Kollmann checked. Bronshtein decided to bet pot, and Kollmann put him all in for just a tad more. Bonshtein called it off with {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{7-Spades}{10-Spades}, and was drawing dead against Kollmann's {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}.

Kollmann added some more chips to his impressive stack as Bronshtein left the tournament area.

Mizrachi Busts Another; Takes Back the Chip Lead

Another hand, another episode of the Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi show. That's just how this event has been going. In this segment, Mizrachi busted Ben Roberts, the longtime English pro.

Erich Kollmann started things off with a raise from under the gun to 1,100. Roberts reraised from the next seat to 4,000 and action folded to Mizrachi in the big blind. He called, as did Kollmann.

The flop came down {J-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Mizrachi led for 4,100. Kollmann folded, but Roberts reraised all in for around 10,000. Mizrachi beat him into the pot.

"I've got a pair and a straight draw," said Mizrachi while revealing the {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Roberts then turned up the {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for a pair of aces and blockers to Mizrachi's straight draw.

The turn was the {J-Hearts} before the river completed the board with the {4-Hearts}. The river four gave Mizrachi a full house and he was able to win the pot to eliminate Roberts.

With that pot, Mizrachi moved himself back into the chip lead.
