O'Brien and Newey Trading Blows

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

From the button, Dan O'Brien raised to 800. Paul Newey called from the big blind and, the flop came down {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Newey checked, O'Brien bet 900, and Newey called.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds}, and both players checked. The river then completed the board with the {10-Clubs}. Newey fired 2,200, and O'Brien made the call.

Newey showed the {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}, but that was no good against O'Brien's {10-Spades}{9-Clubs} for two pair.

A couple hands later, O'Brien raised the button to 800, and Newey called from the big blind to see a flop of {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Newey check, O'Brien fired 1,100, and Newey made the call.

On the {5-Hearts} turn, both players checked. On the {9-Hearts} river, Newey fired 2,300. O'Brien folded, and Newey won the pot.
