Smith Eliminates about 20MM Worth of Live Tournament Earnings

Joe Hachem and Steve Dennenmann at the same table again.

Joe Hachem, Steve Dannenmann and Scott Seiver have combined live tournament earnings exceeding $21,000,000, all that was worth nothing against Micah Smith just now.

After some a pre flop madness, during which both Seiver and Dannenmann ended up all in, it was Hachem who also put his money on the line when the flop showed {8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. All were covered by Micah Smith, and the following 16 cards were turned over.

Showdown:
Joe Hachem: {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Micah Smith: {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Scott Seiver: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Steve Dannenmann: {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}

Hachem had a set with the nut flush draw, Smith had a straight flush draw but Seiver also had diamonds. They were inferior, and helped Hachem's chances. Seiver had a gut shot while Dannenmann had even worse odds of winning.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and Smith hit trips while Hachem made a full house. On the river the {A-Hearts} popped up, and Smith had backed himself into hitting a full house. Three players were eliminated, and Smith took the chip lead!
