Shak Doesn't Like To Bubble

Dan Shak on Day 1
Dan Shak on Day 1

Dan Smith has been fairly active, and after just taking down a pot by three-betting pre flop he just decided to raise it up to 2,000. Jamie Pickering called from the button and Dan Shak defended his big blind.

The flop came down {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Shak checked to Smith who threw out 3,600. Pickering tanked for a while, but eventually folded.

Shak tanked for a bit before he announced a pot-sized re-raise. Smith moved all in and Shak called for a total of 24,600.

Showdown:
Dan Shak: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Dan Smith: {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Shak was looking for help in order to stay alive.

"Heart!" Shak yelled, right before the dealer put out the {A-Hearts}.

"Yes!" Shak added as he secured himself of a double up. "I'm sorry about the "Yes", I just hate to be the bubble boy," he added.

"I don't mind," Smith said as was left behind with 22,000 chips.
